KRISTIN KOVNER is a seasoned marketing professional specializing in marketing strategies for high-growth tech and media companies. An industry veteran, Kristin has extensive experience in online video, social media, B2B marketing, media planning and budgeting, customer acquisition, product launches, and brand management. She has a proven track record of developing and executing best-in-class marketing strategies that grow product adoption and drive revenue.
Prior to starting her own consultancy, Kristin successfully built and led numerous high-performing marketing and sales development teams at AOL, Google and YouTube. As the VP of Marketing at AOL during a turnaround, Kristin led the business brand’s repositioning efforts, overseeing seven straight quarters of revenue growth, and the launch of three consumer-facing websites that each grew to become Top 5 within their respective categories. Kristin’s marketing creates markets. As the Head of Industry Marketing at YouTube, Kristin helped launch that company’s first advertising products, fueling demand for a then-nascent video advertising market and advancing the company’s trajectory on the road to profitability.
